My name is Jacob Rosa, a father, an artist, and a technology enthusiast. I have a strong passion for creating art and designing, whether it’s illustrating, creating 3D models, and animating. Over the year I’ve learned to combine various mediums to create my artwork. Some of techniques I have come to polish would be to simply draw a character, then take it into a program such as Adobe’s Photoshop, create a 3D image of the layer for lighting, shadows, touch ups, then take the illustration it into an animation program afterwards to bring my artwork to life. My interest in technology has led me learn as much as I can about various programs for music production, animation, image editing, and 3D modeling. I can essentially utilize various programs fairly quickly because of earlier experiences I’ve had with them since my teenage years.
Game production has also been of great interest to me because I am an avid gamer, furthermore; game production combines several of my passions all at once; music, design, and technology. As an artist I am currently establishing myself with a freelance design business in which I have created Logos for various businesses in a short amount of time. I am also in the process of creating a website for the business, and have already generated a fairly decent following for the Looking Glass Graphics social media page. Come take a journey with me as I venture forth with my Looking Glass Graphics business. I believe that every day is an opportunity to learn something new and if one learns more about the different aspects within a career they love it can become a perfect formula for success.
